class of 2026 | avid learner

Hi there!

I am currently a sophomore at City High School in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Apart from focusing on education, I usually keep myself busy at school with my involvement in extracurricular activities. I am the captain of our Speech & Debate team, president of the Class of 2026 Student Council, treasurer of City’s chapter of the National Honor Society, editor at our student-run school newspaper The City Voice, and president of the coding club. Outside of school, I am a Kaufman Interfaith Leadership Scholar at Grand Valley State University’s Kaufman Interfaith Institute and play the violin as the concertmaster for the St. Cecilia School of Music’s Philharmonic Orchestra. I am also the president of the Global Citizens Association and lead the GCA’s chapters at City High School and City Middle School.

In between all of this, I try to make some time to pursue my hobbies as well. In my free time, I enjoy playing the violin, singing Indian Carnatic Music, reading, and playing basketball. During the extreme seasons and weather we have here in Michigan, I enjoy paddleboarding in the summer and skiing in the winter.
